When cleaning screen for dust start one direction move to the opposite direction and keep cycling through that way.
Don't use tape to remove dust, it can leave residue behind on the screen. Tip: I used compressed gas to help with dust removal. If you've never used an anti glare screen before your phone screen images will look a little funny or different after you put the screen protector on but it's not your eyes and the protector isn't defective it's just the way it looks because of the anti-glare. There is a cut out at the top and eventhough a minute amount of the screen is still exposed like a border around tge scren protector, I could barely tell once I put the phone case back on. I did mine and on the first try it was perfect. I know it seems like a lot of steps but if you follow the instructions you will have little to no bubble to work out. For some reason I could have sworn I ordered the privacy screen but apparently ordered the anti-glare.Īpplication: This screen protector went on easy-peasy. The colors of the phone are so bright that the matte does not take away from the phone much at all.įirst, the reason I bought this is because the one that came with my phone case refused to be bubble free. The matte finish is nice and provides a smoothness when dragging your finger across the screen. The protectors I've used in the past came all the way to the edge and you would never notice that it was on. Some people may not care since it's not a huge gap, but when you've seen better, you may be unsatisfied. I took off one star because the protector does not go all the way to the edges, which means that you can see that there is a protector on it, which also leaves the perimeter slightly exposed and open for dust. After, I pull off layer 2 to to present my new protector which is the final step. Then I went over the edges to smooth out bubbles with my fingers. I then pulled back the rest of the film to adhere the protector with one hand as I used the straight edge/squeegee to firmly adhere the protector and release bubbles with the other hand until the whole protector was set. Then I pulled back the film (layer 1) a little bit to begin applying protector starting at the top of phone. This is what I did.wiped off screen with the cloth, used the sticker/tape to pick up lint, wiped off screen again and again, used tape again (as needed). They also provided rubber bands to help hold it in place however, I did not understand how that was going to work and did not use it. I would normally just use a regular piece of tape, but now they include stickers/tape, which is awesome. You would also use the sticky tape to help lift the protector after applying it if you notice lint underneath.
This one had sticky tape to help pick up lint from the screen, rubber bands, cloth, and a squeegee. The package included a lot of helpful pieces that I didn't get when I would purchase protectors a year ago. I am getting a lot better with putting these things on. I did not get any dust trapped under the protector. I got a few bubbles around the edges originally but was able to push them out with my fingers with ease.
